We have hosted several art exhibitions in our large event space.
For example the pop-up social art, music and culture festival space by Viva con Agua Uganda. #artcreateswater aimed at raising funds for water and sanitation projects. The exhibition that featured both Uganda and international artists aimed to inspire visitors to become socially active themselves, all of this by using the universal language of art, music and sports.
We also hosted the HIVOS exhibition by renowned photographer Jimmy Nelson #Once about eradicating child labour in coffee growing areas in Uganda.
The Uganda Press Photo Awards that took place at the National Museum in 2017 was a design co-creation project between the organisers and Design Hub. We curated the show and installations together with art students from HKU in the Netherlands.
