When US giants like Google, Microsoft and Facebook invest millions in the African tech sector we should take note. This is not only driven by the desire to conquer the future African digital consumer. There is also a huge opportunity to cultivate and recruit African tech talent to fill the international talent gap. Two years ago Tunga started in Kampala to fill this gap.
Tunga builds reliable software and software teams consisting of talented and ambitious African developers that have a solid understanding of international standards for clients worldwide. Also, Tunga is based on Impact Sourcing: the integration of socioeconomically disadvantaged workers either through outsourcing or by setting up remote or virtual teams using digital technology.
