23 Feb Intellectual Property (IP) Clinic for Creatives
Eliza Nahayo Kakure of the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology is conducting an info session about protection of intellectual property rights with a special focus on the creative industry. The clinic will touch on topic such as patents, trademarks designs and copyrights among others. Focus will be on Music, Design, Literature and Technology.
The goal is to provide an information platform on intellectual property and enhance competitiveness in innovative enterprises.
Objectives:
– To promote commercialisation of local inventions/innovations
– To expand the innovation base in Uganda
– To strengthen institutional mechanisms to acquire and support Intellectual Property Rights
– To promote and facilitate access to patent information
This workshop is FREE for all Design Hub Members. Non-members pay 5k
