25 Oct Creative Talks Africa: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
At KQ’s Creative Talks Africa sessions hosted at Design Hub Kampala, we highlight professional East African Culture & Art influencers who are trailblazing within the creative industry to share their ideas, thoughts and experiences with a curious audience intentional about learning and networking.
During this month’s Creative Talks Africa session we talk about innovative entrepreneurs creating fashionable & practical sustainable products.
We can’t deny that the human influence on the environment has gotten out of hand due to major waste of plastic and air pollution among others. Innovators & creatives come up with brilliant products that are sustainable and made out of natural materials.
Panelists for this talk are:
– Faith Aweko, from Reform Africa, a social enterprise that transforms plastic waste into sustainable, waterproof and durable bags and accessories.
– Stella Nakawuki Lukwago, from Ouroots Africa, an innovative enterprise offering sustainable alternatives to single use plastic, by growing & converting natural plants into useful products such as drinking straws and cocktail mixers/ stirrers.
Free to attend!
