Data Club Uganda brings together data enthusiasts from government, civil society, academia and the private sector to chat, discover and network on all things data.
The event aims to create a sense of community amongst people and organizations working with data and to provide resources, support and opportunities to both aspiring data scientists and companies looking for data services.

Learn Data Visualization on Atlas
Lydia Namubiru, Data Lead and Media Researcher at African Center for Media Excellence (ACME) will teach a 30 minute session on how to use Atlas, a free platform from Quartz for creating and sharing great charts. Lydia will also tell us more about the Open Data movement in Uganda: www.data.ug.
Opening Chat
Angela Kiconco, Senior Statistician and Diana Nabukalu, Statistician from Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) will give give a few remarks on the importance of national data and how it can be made more available and understandable by the public.
